Laura Finnerty Design is an interior design and home decor company which is a culmination of Laura’s passion for and expertise in interior design, graphic design and home decor.

Laura has an extensive background in design and the fine arts. She graduated from Hamilton College with honors in her Fine Arts Major in painting and holds a Master of Arts in Design from Boston University.

Laura worked in the graphic design and architecture industries for several years in San Francisco and Boston, honing her visual design and client/vendor relations skills. She then worked for herself as an interior designer for two years and subsequently with a business partner under the name Wanderlust Interiors for eight years.

Most recently, she relaunched her own design business under Laura Finnerty Design, offering accessible and flexible interior design services both in person and remotely for projects of any scope and size, in addition to her line of home decor.

Laura’s interior design and home decor style is defined by the calming and also uplifting effects of color, movement and texture and reflects her love of the beauty and peaceful harmony found in nature.

Laura currently lives outside of Boston, MA but likes to travel as much as she can. When not working on designs for her clients, she is likely creating new designs, spending time with her teenaged daughter and son, skiing, riding her bike(s) or attending a live music show.
